XAware's open source data integration software passed the 1,000 downloads per day mark this week, posting more than 1,500 downloads yesterday and more than 1,100 already today.

More than 40,000 RIA, WOA and SOA application developers have now discovered that XAware open source software simplifies builidng and managing data access to and from multiple external data sources with reusable bidirectional composite data services based on"xml data views".

The annoucement last week that Active Endpoints and Appcelerator joined Sun/MySQL in the XAware Ecosystem of open source solutions for RIA, WOA and SOA application developers and implementers certainly has contributed to the surge past 1,000 downloads per day. The demos, use cases, tutorials, documentation, and compbined downloads offered as part of these relationships speed start-up time and boost productivity for developers using these complementary open source tools and capabilities.
